The Endeavor Program

The Endeavor Program is small group ABA services supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analysis.  These groups are ideal for children who have been diagnosed with autism, developmental disabilities or genetic conditions. However, a formal diagnosis is not required for entry into the program if you plan to self pay, as commercial insurance will require the medical diagnosis for authorization of group ABA. These groups provide a small, intensive early intervention environment with a maximum of seven children and three trained staff. This small environment ensures the intense interaction and guidance that these children require to function in a group setting.

An initial assessment is completed using a variety of appropriate assessment tools, including the VB-MAPP. These assessments provide a wealth of information about current skills and goals for skill acquisition. An individualized plan is then created. We consider parent input crucial to the success of each child’s program and recognize the importance of consistency across environments.

Within each Endeavor group, a unique combination of developmentally appropriate early childhood best practice and evidenced based and/or emerging early intervention strategies (ABA, VB, DIR, TEACCH) are embedded in a natural group environment that utilizes incidental teaching and direct instruction. Each group is designed to provide a developmentally appropriate environment into which each child’s individual plan may be embedded. Our program places special emphasis on increasing communication, social interaction and independence, while decreasing challenging behaviors.

Enrollment & Cost

Enrollment options include morning and afternoon sessions. Each session is three hours in length. The morning session is from 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., and the afternoon session is from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.  Children who attend a morning and afternoon session on the same day will remain with their group during transition.  We do require that children participate in at least 2 sessions per week, with the option of up to 9 sessions per week.

We are now in-network with several commercial insurance companies.  If your child has a diagnosis of autism, your insurance company may cover group ABA.  We recommend that you reach out to your insurance company to verify this benefit.  If you are interested in pursuing insurance billing, please contact our Billing Specialist.  If not billing insurance, families are automatically eligible for a scholarship partially funded by the WHAS Crusade for Children, that will reduce your out-of-pocket responsibility to $52.50 per session.  Should your family experience additional financial hardship, you are eligible to apply for a needs-based scholarship through Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Louisville.
