The Endeavor Program
The Endeavor Program is small group ABA services supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analysis. These groups are ideal for children who have been diagnosed with autism, developmental disabilities or genetic conditions. However, a formal diagnosis is not required for entry into the program. It provides a very small, intensive early intervention environment with a maximum of seven students and three trained staff. This small environment ensures the intense interaction and guidance that these children require to function in a group setting.
An initial assessment is completed shortly after enrollment using a variety of appropriate assessment tools including the VB-MAPP. These assessments provide a wealth of information about current skills and goals for skill acquisition. An individualized plan is then created. We consider parent input crucial to the success of each child’s program and recognized the importance of consistency across environments.
Within each Endeavor group, a unique combination of developmentally appropriate early childhood best practice and evidenced based and/or emerging early intervention strategies (ABA, VB, DIR, TEACCH) are embedded in a natural group environment that utilizes incidental teaching and direct instruction. Each group is designed to provide a developmentally appropriate environment into which each child’s individual plan may be embedded. Our program centers on educating the whole child in a developmentally appropriate way with special emphasis on increasing communication, social interaction and independence, while decreasing challenging behaviors.
Enrollment & Cost
Enrollment options include morning and afternoon group sessions. Each group session is three hours in length. The morning session is from 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., and the afternoon session is from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Children must attend at least two three-hour group sessions, with the option of up to 8 sessions per week. The cost of each three hour group session is $96. If your child has a formal diagnosis of autism, some insurance plans will cover the cost of Endeavor. We encourage you to contact your insurance carrier to determine if they cover ABA Group services. If your child does not have an autism diagnosis or ABA Group is not covered under your insurance plan, you may access a scholarship partially funded by the WHAS Crusade for Children in the amount of $44.75 per session, decreasing your out-of-pocket responsibility to $51.25 per session. Families of a child with autism who demonstrate financial need beyond the $51.25 per session amount, are eligible to apply for a FEAT of Louisville need-based scholarship.
Registration for Endeavor takes place at anytime throughout the year for children not presently in the program. Interested parents should contact us to schedule a tour. There is a non-refundable fee of $150 per family due at the time of registration required in order to secure group enrollment.
