Families not attending Carriage House may schedule a tour and place their child’s name on the waiting list at anytime during the year.  Official Preschool registration typically begins in February for the following school year.  Children who are currently attending the program and their siblings have the first option for placement.  There is an annual non-refundable $150 registration fee required to secure your enrollment.

5 Star Rating

Carriage House Preschool received the highest five-star quality rating from Kentucky All STARS.

Low Ratios

Our preschool classrooms maintain low ratios of a maximum of 1 teacher to 4-5 children.

Nurturing Environment

An environment with organized learning areas invites all children into the mainstream of learning.

Intentional Classroom Setting

The emphasis is on the PROCESS of learning more than the product.

  • Allows the child to experience the joy of learning
  • Gives time to enjoy the process
  • Ensures the development of self-esteem
  • Provides the experiences from which children create their knowledge

Quality Curriculum

We use a combination of curriculum and curriculum supplements to meet the varied needs of our learners.  Our main curriculum, The Creative Curriculum, is a project approach to learning that focuses on 10 categories of development and 38 objectives.  The categories range from broad developmental areas such as social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development to content areas such as math, literacy, social studies, and arts.  The Creative Curriculum also aligns with the principles Carriage House values and correlates directly to both the Kentucky Early Childhood Standards and the Kentucky Academic Standards.

One Goal – SUCCESS

Our highly trained teachers use proven strategies to ensure that all children succeed at a high level:

  • Multi-Sensory approach to address different learning styles
  • Developmental progressing, building on what children already know
  • Engaging lessons that invite active participation
