Our Mission

At Carriage House for Children, our mission is to create an inclusive, natural, nurturing, and safe environment where children of all abilities can thrive.  Through hands-on learning and embedded early intervention, we foster curiosity, connection, and social/emotional growth.  Our individualized whole child approach ensures that every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Carriage House accomplishes this mission by

Providing a nurturing, consistent, secure and stimulating environment for young children

Valuing that each child has unique gifts

Designing and adapting early interventions and curriculum to meet the needs of each individual child

Encouraging independence which will enable each child to begin to understand how to balance privileges with responsibilities

Providing opportunities to enable each child to build a strong self-image, which will enhance his/her self-confidence

We emphasize individualized plans tailored to each child’s needs, created with essential parent input, and blend best practices with evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social interaction, and independence while reducing challenging behaviors. We are in-network with most commercial insurance carriers and KY Medicaid.
