Carriage House Preschool
Carriage House Preschool provides classrooms for children 2 to 6 years of age. Our preschool runs year round, beginning in August and ending in July. Morning preschool sessions are available Monday thru Friday from 8:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Afternoon preschool sessions are available Monday thru Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Children attending both morning and afternoon sessions, will have lunch during the transition time. Optional early morning care is available daily beginning at 7:30 a.m. and limited extended afternoon care ends at 4:15 p.m.

Low Ratios
Our preschool classrooms maintain low ratios of a maximum of 1 teacher to 4-5 children.
Quality Curriculum
The Get Set for School® Curriculum from the makers of Handwriting Without Tears® is used to provide a comprehensive hands-on model to learning in each classroom and prepares children for school in the areas of Readiness & Writing, Language & Literacy and Number & Math. We will also begin implementing the Creative Curriculum® this year, which is a project approach to learning that focuses on 10 categories of development and 38 objectives.

Preschool Registration
Families not attending Carriage House may schedule a tour and place their child’s name on the waiting list at anytime during the year. Official Preschool registration typically begins in February for the following school year. Children who are currently attending the program and their siblings have the first option for placement. There is an annual non-refundable $150 registration fee required to secure your enrollment.

Early Morning & Extended Afternoon Care
Early drop off is available Monday through Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. There is also limited extended afternoon care available Monday thru Thursday for families needing a later pick-up. This service is available until 4:15 p.m. The cost is $6.00 per morning or afternoon.
